IFR Training – Session 1 – 10/6/2013

Today I start my IFR flight training.
We practice hood work, VOR navigation, compass errors on accelerations and decelerations, compass errors on turnings. We use N89084, a C152 which basically was good enough for all IFR trainings we needed.

The training was better that I was expecting. I was able to get hold of most of things that needed to be taken care of, if they were 2-3 tasks at the same time. More than 3 tasks is getting pretty much busy and very confusing some times.

Next session is going to be approach to Chino (KNCO).

Take off time: 12:15 PM
Fight Durations: 1.7 hrs
Landings: 1
